These have proven to be excellent replacements for the Pirelli Verdi tyres fitted previously. They are noticeably quieter, lateral traction seems superior and snow grip is undoubtedly better. Overall I'm very impressed with this set of tyres.

We have the Cross-Climates on my Passat Tdi and my wife's Volvo XC60, all year round here in the Scottish Highlands. I have driven Passats for 15 years and these tyres are superbly complimentary, at 37psi they make the Passat handle much more positively but on 17" wheels they are not at all harsh. I'm averaging 61mpg overall and in about 8000 miles the fronts have lost about 1mm; I'm a community driver since retirement so I'm driving gently nowadays. In rain they clear well and I've never felt them aquaplaning. In the December 2022 snow we got a foot of dry powder then freezing slush. The XC60 with 4WD is unstoppable and just ploughs on through untracked snow, the traction is excellent but as the sipes go across the tread, sideways stability isn't great on ice - I think a full winter tyre would be better. The poor old Passat just couldn't dig its way through the snow however as it lacked ground clearance. So a very good tyre indeed and seemingly perfect for somebody living in a country with a wide variety of conditions.

I have driven with these and before with the previous model of cross climate tyres for over 5 years now and love them both for summer and winter driving. Worth every penny for that extra grip and safety for the family and other road users in cold / wintery conditions but also superb to drive with in summer, happy with noise levels, mpg fuel use and they last well too. Would highly recommend and will definitely buy again. No idea why not everyone uses these, they seem absolutely ideal for British driving conditions.

Anyone who rates these tyres as poor, should really look at themselves and their less than optimum driving style. They are not, and have never been intended to be high performance tyres. What they are, are probably the best all round tyres for all conditions on 99 percent of vehicles. They are long lasting provide superb grip under all conditions and are a safe tyre in all conditions. I have them fitted to three of my vehicles with nothing but security and confidence in them. I readily get in excess of 30,000 miles from a set. I have used Cross climate and Crossclimate 2 for the past seven years. If you think these are poor tyres then you really need to look at yourself.

I have been using Michelin Crossclimate tyres on all our cars for over 6 years. The cars are a Land Rover Discovery Sport, VW Golf and a VW Polo - all of which benefit from excellent all season performance, reduced road noise, great tyre life and improv Edward fuel consumption - worth every penny!

I had these tyres fitted on a BMW with 300 BHP and xDrive. They are terrible. Tyre squeal when cornering and they had a massively negative impact of the handling and stability of the car.

Having been in the tyre business for some years I have tried numerous tyres on my vehicles, my thoughts turned to these after a driving experience at a test track called Mira, what an experience, I put these to the test by putting them on a friend's taxi, he got 53000 miles out of them, and was one of a few that had no problems at all during the winter season, I now have these on my own vehicle and must say don't think I will put anything else on now, they stick to the road like the excrement to your shoe, Michelin hat of to you

Tried Goodyear vector 4seasons and they didn’t last. Tried these a couple years ago and haven’t looked back! They are fantastic. Anyone criticising these are expecting these to perform like summer tyres which is an unfair comparison. They do 90% of a summer tyre and 90% of a winter tyre which makes them perfect for UK roads & weather.

I’ve a Ford Focus Vignale 2ltr Auto. It had Continentals on when I bought it which were noisy and didn’t like rutted roads at all. Replaced the Continentals with Cross Climate tyres and the car was transformed - Much smoother and quieter ride with exceptional Road holding. Do not skimp on tyres, your life is not worth it !!
