Excellent all round tyre, really surprised that they’re holding up so well after 18000 miles, I’d expect them to be good for at least another 8000 miles. I’ll certainly be buying another set when these are past their best.

Reliable and provide peace of mind. I am just about to book to replace the other two tyres. The tread does tend to attract shingle and there is always a worry that a sharp piece might actually perforate the tyre but would recommend, especially in winter conditions.

Superbly, they handle well in big puddles, hot tarmac and pot holes

Overall these tyres are excellent and give great feedback from the road. I use all season tyres because they give great performance in the winter months and better performance than summer tyres in the wet months of the year, personal choice. The only let down for me with the Cross Climate tyres is the lower tread depth of 6.5mm when new has meant that my car will need new tyres after two years, shoulder wear is heavy due to the rounder profile and the wear markers being just insider of 3/4 of the tyres width. Other manufacturers have 8mm of tread when new.

As above, the Crossclimates I had before lived up to the hype and the newer ones seemed to be much the same despite different ratings (maybe very slightly more wheelslip on fast starts?). Excellent dry grip both in summer and winter, difficult to outright lose traction with FWD car, still good in wet, and ice/snow performance at least equal to all-seasons I used before (haven't ever had full winters to compare to, but they probably wouldn't be necessary in this environment anyway). Seems like a good value combination of characteristics. Can't much comment on the noise or economy, but both seem broadly reasonable for the car, they neither make it silent and a hypermiler, nor raucous and thirsty. Not sure about the "reinforced" status as recently had one killed by a sharp kerb/washout pothole combo when doing a hurried U-turn, but maybe non-reinforced would have already died to a lesser insult? Held together enough to get me a couple miles home at 10mph despite otherwise being badly shredded anyway.

As expected, as they were direct replacement for a pair that had been driven about 30,000 miles.

The Cross Climate provides great feedback in all weathers - I’ve run PS2’s on a 997 and they were also awesome for that car. Not sure what else needs to be said.
