AVIS SUR LE PNEU MICHELIN Pilot Sport 5

These are my second set, on a Transporter T6 204 TSI I get 20,000 on the front and 40,000 on the rears, excellent balance of performance and also quietness, I have had continentals etc before though these were softer, noisier and wore quicker, also as they were softer they were more prone to flicking screws up into the rear ryes

After a year, and only about 4,000 miles (i have winter tyres on for the cold spell) these barely look worn. Ride comfort is better than the previous Bridgestones, although not as good as the winter tyres. Grip just isnt a thought, dry wet, cornering, they just get on with it. Not cheap to buy, but excellent tyres, and seem to be wearing very slowly too

They are quieter and more comfortable than the Pirellis I had before but they are not as grippy and do not give the same feedback from the road.

I feel abit more comfortable than with the PS4S.

Excellent fabulous grip wet or dry

One was damaged beyond repair after hitting road debris, something that had fallen off a lorry!

Great tyres, expensive but worth it as they last longer than continental and Bridgestone

Great in all weathers a lot more grip than before gives you a lot more confidence when driving

Pilot Sport 5s are the very best road tyre, and deservedly win all the ratings awards

Difficult for me to provide a full review after only a couple of months however the tyres appear to be performing well and they provide good grip.
