AVIS SUR LE PNEU MICHELIN CrossClimate 3

On my last car I changed from Summer Tyres to Winter Tyres around about November then back to the Summers about April. I decided this time on my new car to change the Summers for all seasons on the front as I have not a lot of confidence the Summer Tyres would be much good in the snow which we normally always get before and after Christmas. There is a lot to be said for having confidence in the grip you get from your tyres so the Michelin Cross Climate 3’s were my choice. I bought them a few weeks before any snow was forecast and had a chance to try them out last week as the first snow of the season came. I had to drive a few miles to work and as it’s a bit off the main roads the last bit of my journey was on an untreated B road. I did struggle a bit on a bit of a hill but did manage. The Tyres on my car are slightly wider and a lower profile than my last car so maybe that is a factor but all in all the state of the roads is not a good starting point. I still think I have made the right decision and am looking forward to a good few years of good wear out of these Tyres.

With the enormous amount of speed humps and drivers not using their indicators properly, I feel safer in a brand of tyre I have trusted for many years.

The tyres were changed on the front due to the budget tyres that were on it when I bought the car been pants, we had some snow and the car was borderline dangerous due to no grip so decided it was best I changed them, had these tyres due to been all season tyres with good fuel,wet grip and noise along with their reputation.

Wet weather performance is very good.

I have had Michelin Cross Climate 2 on our other car. Great performance all year, with a noticeable improvement in cold weather and a longer life than Michelin Primacy. So when this car needed tyres I went for Cross Climate 3.

I mainly buy all season tyres for the winter snow, slush and ice that we get in NE Scotland. The Michelin CrossClimate 3 tyres perform great in all of these conditions plus the wet and dry. I always read reviews of tyres before I purchase. These were my second choice, after the Pirelli all season SF3 tyres, but we're at a much cheaper price on promotion.
