Brilliant all seasons tyres

Everybody on the 4th of jan 2025 was queuing in the middle lane on the M4 during a snow storm, right lane was empty with just a few cm of snow on it, I was able to use it, excellent grip on snow ! Excellent grip too when it rains heavily, feels very safe. Able to evacuate water very quickly and maintain firm steering (« no floating ») when passing in on these puddles on the road. The only minor drawback of those is I’ve used the front tyres rather quickly (they lasted 1 year before I had to replace them) but I did clock a lot of miles during that time (more than 25000 miles) so that’s understandable, you can’t have everything. Grip was a bit less efficient when they were worn out, like any tyre (don’t wait for the last limit to change your tyres). Well worth the money, excellent tyres from Michelin I will only put those on my car from now on, would not consider anything else for safety.

All good not experienced snow or ice yet!

Excellent grip on wet or icy roads. Feels “more precise” than the previous cheaper generic brand summer tyres I had. Michelin crossclimate are the best in my view. Feels really safe when it’s raining and you need to brake suddenly, the car sticks to the road. The only drawback is I noticed my fuel efficiency has dropped by 4mpg compared to with my previous tyres (anything else stayed the same) but I guess that would be the same with another brand when switching from summer to allweather (snow) tyres. I’m personally happy to spend a bit more on fuel if that means I can now drive my car regardless of the weather conditions (snow, rain, summer) with really good grip and safety.

It has been few months still in perfect condition

Tyres are OK. BUT, I inadvertently finger-fumbled the on line page and bought the wrong smaller size. The fitters did not comment on the mismatch. I have tolerated the 10% faster reading on my speedo and odometer. Eventually I will have to replace the tyres prematurely.
