MICHELIN CrossClimate 2 SUV REIFENBEWERTUNG

I always buy Michelin cross climate as they are excellent performers and although expensive they are long lasting.

Previously had the standard Michelin cross climate tyres and these lasted for 45,000 miles approximately 5 years of careful driving. They also stuck to the road like glue, I was really impressed on the handling characteristics. The cross climate 2 ones are marginally better on the fuel however they appear to be wearing quicker, but still have excellent road handling! I was determined to get despite the very dear price however time will tell if I made the right decision. I don’t think they’re as good as the originals overall …. there is a wider gap and less rubber bearing on the road surface. Cheers

Good wet weather grip and particularly good snow grip. On motorways the tyres do vibrate across expansion strips.

A Brilliant fit and forget option if you are looking for 4 season tyres that are supremely comfortable, quiet and long lasting. This is the 4th vehicle I’ve fitted these to. We experienced a scary emergency stop situation on a wet German autobahn , they were amazing, i just wouldn’t fit anything else ! Superb 👌

Car definitely handles better in all weathers . (Haven’t tried in snow yet).

Very good and strong

Great upgrade on the manufacturers standard issue Hankook Ventus tyres. Feels like driving a different & premium car. Car has better grip, feels softer on the road & the noise levels are much lower than std issue.

For the mixed driving that I do, country lanes, farm tracks and snow and ice these tyres are excellent proving constant grip and friction, especially since I regularly tow a caravan and other equipment. The only downside, and this is only a minor irritation is slight road/tyre noise between 50 mph and 70 mph. I tend to cruise when not towing at 130 kph on European motorways so the tyre noise is not there, however, on British dual carriageways such as the A34 or A40 road speeds are more commonly between 45mph and 65 mph and the road noise is apparent. These tyres handle pot holes and imperfections very well.
