MICHELIN Primacy 5 REIFENBEWERTUNG

I've been asked for a review of the tyres after 3 months of use, but being late August they've only been used on our extremely dry roads, so while we've had no issues with them, I feel uncomortable RECOMMENDING them. We actually replaced the pilot sport 4s last year with a full set of primacy tyres, but as we're rear wheel drive we need to replace these tyres much faster and to save money we only replaced the two, so stuck with the same type. Being RWD the grip and driving in snow is absolutely appalling, and we were after ANYTHING better than the pilot sport 4s. We didn't really get a good chance to drive in the snow last year, but the little there was ok. I think next year when they all need replacing, I'll probably go for an all weather tyre as grip is more important to me than saving money. (The next time I can afford to replace my car, I'm going back to FWD/AWD for sure; we don't have two cars, so we don't have a 'better' alternative in the snow)

These are the second set of tyres I've replaced on my Tesla Model 3. It was supplied new with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (PS4) and these were replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 after about 20,000. After another 16,000 miles I had a puncture (which couldn't be repaired due to the acoustic foam in the tyre) so I decided to replace all 4 with Michelin Primacy 5 tyres. I'm still not sure if I prefer them over the PS4, which felt firmer but with better grip and control. The Primacy 5 feels softer with a slightly more 'bouncy' ride, so I don't think they handle as well. I don't think there's much difference in noise or range, and it's hard to tell if they might last longer after 12 weeks. I did have another puncture, though, which was repairable; on this basis alone, they've probably saved me money.

They feel faster and it looks like I am getting more mileage too.

The tyres so far has performed well. However I had the same tyres previously and they have suffered punctures and even cuts (around 12000miles) that had failed a MoT which was disappointing.

No problems. Car feels stable.

Performing very well. Car feels much more stable and comfortable. A bit noisy though. Not noisier than the pilot sport 5 which I had before though.

Road handling is very good
